Visits to Places of Worship

On 20th April this year, Years 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 visited two places of worship in Bristol.

The children received a warm welcome at the mosque they visited. They learnt a lot about Islam from the talk given by a member of theMuslim community.

The mosque was plain with no windows so that Muslims can concentrate on their prayers and worship.

The children also received a warm welcome when they visited Bristol Cathedral.

They explored the huge space in the Cathedral and all the different features, such as the lectern, the nave and the big stained glass windows.
